Full-Stack Senior Developer

About the role

We are looking for a forward‑thinking, highly experienced Full‑Stack Senior Developer to join our fast‑growing Agile team based in Pretoria/Johannesburg. You will work collaboratively in an Agile environment, delivering end‑to‑end software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle, from design to delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and provide progress feedback.
• Design efficient software architectures that meet specifications and performance goals.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and advise on improvements.
• Build and optimise databases and application code for high performance.
• Lead and mentor development teams, assigning tasks and guiding project direction.
• Provide technical support to clients when required.
• Help define and follow development processes to ensure timely, high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience as a software developer.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Proven experience working in a Linux environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

Required skills

• Programming languages: JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, C++, C#, XML, SQL (PostgreSQL advantageous), JSON.
• Mobile/Hybrid frameworks: Cordova, Ionic.
• Front‑end frameworks and libraries: Bootstrap, Knockout, jQuery, Node.js.
