Full Stack Developer

About the role

Talent Sauce is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join its Intermediary Applications team on a 6‑month fixed‑term project. The role focuses on building and enhancing digital tools for financial intermediaries, with a strong emphasis on integrating Artificial Intelligence to improve code quality, testing, and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and secure full‑stack applications for the financial advisory ecosystem.
• Identify and implement AI capabilities such as natural language processing, predictive analytics, or automation to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, pair programming, and uphold development standards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in an Agile pod to translate user stories into high‑quality features.
• Tackle complex technical challenges including systems integration, data migration, and performance optimisation within a regulated financial services environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of software development experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services sector, especially wealth management or intermediary distribution, is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience working in Agile development teams.
• Demonstrable experience or portfolio showing use of AI tools in the development workflow.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Front‑end frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Back‑end development with APIs and microservices.
• Cloud platforms: Azure or AWS.
• DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
• SQL and database design.
• AI/ML tooling: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codeium, OpenAI APIs, Azure Cognitive Services.
