Full Stack C# Software Developer – Hybrid (Cape Town)

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Full Stack C# Software Developer to become an asset management software and systems expert, working in the asset management and fixed income divisions of a global leading investment management company. The role is based in Cape Town with hybrid working and a total compensation of R1.4–R1.5 million per year.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support .NET backend services, APIs and integrations that drive investment decisions.
• Develop Angular front‑end dashboards and internal tools for fund managers, analysts and traders.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes and reporting solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability of critical systems.
• Influence architectural decisions and own technical components across asset management and fixed income teams.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core in production environments.
• Proven experience building Angular front‑ends for business users.
• Advanced SQL skills and ability to create reliable daily batch processes.
• Advanced Python scripting for automation and data processing.
• Experience in financial or regulated environments is a plus.
