Fractional Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fractional Financial Controller to provide high‑level financial discipline across a portfolio of growth‑focused businesses. Working alongside a community of fractional CFOs, you will help multiple organisations achieve clarity, control and confidence in their financial operations while further developing your own expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of accurate financial reporting for each client.
• Improve financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Support CFOs and senior leadership with insightful financial analysis and commercial acumen.
• Assist with fundraising, M&A transactions and business exit strategies.
• Contribute to scaling initiatives, turnarounds, and VC/PE‑backed environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and commercial awareness.
• Track record of success in dynamic, high‑growth settings.
