Forex Dealer – Client-Facing Market Advisor

About the role

The Forex Dealer will manage end‑to‑end foreign exchange transactions while advising clients on market timing and building lasting relationships. You will work closely with teams in Cape Town and Johannesburg, combining client interaction with technical expertise in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Forex transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Guide clients on bookings, market movements and optimal timing.
• Onboard new clients and process international payments.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Cape Town and Johannesburg.
• Maintain attention to detail in a high‑volume dealing environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Forex dealing.
• RE5 qualification and strong knowledge of Exchange Control regulations.
• Experience with client onboarding, payments, intermediaries and regulatory compliance.
• ACI Dealing Certificate or willingness to obtain it.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑first approach.
