Forensic Consultant

About the role

The Forensic Consultant will lead and support forensic investigations focused on economic crimes within the financial services sector. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather evidence, analyse findings and help protect the organisation from fraud and related risks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end forensic investigations, from scoping to evidence analysis and conclusion.
• Identify control breakdowns, fraud schemes and policy breaches, applying appropriate investigative techniques.
• Document investigative actions and maintain audit‑ready records in the GFS case management system.
• Draft clear investigation reports, present findings to stakeholders and propose practical risk‑aligned recommendations.
• Engage with internal clients such as HR, Legal, Risk, Claims and Distribution to gather information and provide case updates.
• Monitor emerging fraud trends, contribute to knowledge bases and support development of preventive measures.

Required profile

• Strong investigative mindset with experience in economic or financial crime investigations.
• Ability to work under guidance while maintaining independence and professional judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to evolving forensic practices.
