Food Technology Quality Intern – 3‑Month Contract

About the role
Our client, a leading frozen fruit processing company, is seeking a Food Technology Quality Intern for a three‑month period. The intern will work at the Firgrove facilities, supporting the Quality Supervisor in maintaining high standards for frozen fruit and vegetable products destined for both national and international markets.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with intrinsic and extrinsic quality control activities.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System.
- Perform routine production quality checks and document findings.
- Prepare basic reports and communicate results to the Quality team.
- Participate in shift work as required.
Required profile
- Final‑year student in Food Technology or a related qualification.
- Strong academic record and basic computer proficiency.
- Effective time‑management and willingness to work shifts.
- Energetic, eager to learn, and fluent in English.
- South African citizenship.
- Availability to start on 1 October 2026.
