Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Capital Hotels is seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily operations across its restaurant, bar, room service, and conference/function areas. Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will ensure high‑quality service and smooth front‑of‑house activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities for the restaurant, bars, room service, and event catering.
• Act as second‑in‑charge to the F&B Manager and take full responsibility for operations in their absence.
• Maintain service standards, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and schedule front‑of‑house staff.
• Handle guest issues promptly and ensure a calm, professional environment.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Hospitality qualification or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years proven supervisory experience in food and beverage.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication and listening skills.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Honest, trustworthy, detail‑oriented, and presentable.
• Proactive attitude with leadership capabilities.
