Food & Beverage Service Associate

About the role

This position supports the hotel’s commitment to turn every guest into a returning and referring guest. The role delivers flexible, high‑quality service across bar service, table service and public‑area cleanliness, ensuring consistent guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately record inventory and follow audit and stock‑control procedures.
• Prepare and serve beverages, provide efficient table service and maintain cleanliness in public areas.
• Implement and uphold brand and group standards, and suggest improvements to service delivery.
• Interact courteously with internal and external customers and collaborate with management to meet operational objectives.
• Participate in all required legislative and operational training and pursue personal development activities.

Required profile

• Minimum education: Grade 12 with computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Behavioural attributes: collaborative, reliable, punctual, friendly, approachable, customer‑service oriented, trustworthy and accountable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic numeracy and inventory/stock‑control procedures.
• Bar operations and drink preparation knowledge.
• Understanding of hygiene, sanitation and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Familiarity with FIFO stock rotation, F&B audit and financial control requirements.
