About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Associate (GSA) supports the guest experience across public areas, bar, and table service at City Lodge Hotels. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding brand standards to turn every guest into a returning and referring guest.

Key responsibilities

• Provide flexible bar and table service while ensuring public area cleanliness.
• Accurately record inventory, follow audit and stock‑control procedures, and manage cash handling.
• Maintain food and beverage service standards, hygiene protocols, and health‑safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to achieve operational objectives and suggest improvements.
• Perform occasional duties assigned by senior management and participate in all required training.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education and basic numeracy.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, bar operations, hygiene, stock control, and health‑safety regulations.
• Behavioural attributes: collaborative, reliable, punctual, friendly, trustworthy, and customer‑service oriented.
