About the role
Media24's Woolworths TASTE content team is offering a 12-month paid internship in Cape Town, supporting food stylists on advertising, editorial and commercial food shoots, from preparation through production. Interns receive mentorship from experienced stylists and content professionals, can build a portfolio and get career guidance after completion. Applications close on 6 November 2026; preference is given to candidates from designated employment-equity groups.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble and plate food for photography
- Organise ingredients, equipment and kitchen tools
- Maintain clean work areas and store food correctly
- Assist with recipe documentation, costing and ingredient sourcing
- Support set propping and track supplies
Required profile
- Completed culinary training and an interest in food styling
- Passion for food, styling, photography or content production
- Strong organisation and basic food-safety and hygiene awareness
- Reliability, including early starts and occasional weekend availability
- Proactive attitude in a fast-paced creative environment
