Florist

About the role

The Florist will create and maintain stunning floral arrangements that define the Pullman Hotel Cape Town City Centre. Working closely with the Front Office and Housekeeping teams, the role ensures high‑quality décor throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain floral decorations for guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, function rooms and special occasions.
• Inspect all floral products and arrangements daily to guarantee freshness and presentation standards.
• Prepare materials, vases and accessories, and keep the floral work area clean and organized.
• Handle, trim and process flowers to preserve their beauty and longevity.
• Design and assemble bouquets and centrepieces for daily use and events.
• Monitor inventory levels, record stock and inform the Master Florist of supply needs.
• Deliver floral arrangements to on‑property events promptly and in impeccable condition.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build professional relationships with guests and anticipate their needs.
• Capable of handling guest complaints and providing rapid, effective solutions.
• Strong multitasking skills, able to work under pressure and collaborate across hotel departments.
