About the role
The Floor Supervisor will support the store management team in delivering outstanding leadership to the store crew at JD Sports, Galleria Mall. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, motivating staff and ensuring a customer‑centric experience across the floor.
Key responsibilities
- Support store management by providing day‑to‑day leadership and guidance to the floor team.
- Ensure operational excellence through a strong customer‑centric mindset and adherence to visual and merchandise standards.
- Allocate time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize priorities to meet store KPIs such as turnover, rewards, new accounts and visual compliance.
- Generate high levels of motivation and commitment among staff, fostering a high‑energy environment.
Required profile
- Matric certificate (minimum education requirement).
- At least 3 years of retail experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a store leadership role.
- High flexibility, ability to adapt to different customers and situations, and a strong sense of urgency to work independently.
