Fleet Manager

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is looking for a Fleet Manager to join its Bloemfontein team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role is responsible for the safe, compliant and cost-effective operation of the company’s transport fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee in-house, outsourced and subcontracted maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive vehicle maintenance plan and monitor service schedules.
• Control transport costs, manage CAPEX budgeting and procurement of transport assets.
• Monitor repair costs for cost-effectiveness and quality, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including RTQS and AARTO requirements.
• Lead the regional safety programme and enforce health-and-safety standards.
• Provide and maintain management information, generate KPI reports and analyse performance data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet management or transport operations.
• Strong knowledge of South African transport legislation (RTQS, AARTO).
• Ability to manage budgets, CAPEX and supplier relationships.
• Analytical mindset with experience in KPI reporting and data-driven improvement.
