Fleet Client Liaison Officer – Cape Town

About the role

The Fleet Client Liaison Officer will be the primary point of contact for regional clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long‑term relationships. The role supports fleet optimisation, compliance and service delivery within Bidvest Bank’s fleet management division.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison for clients, handling inquiries, complaints and documentation such as vehicle delivery acceptance and licensing paperwork.
• Collect and analyse operational data (e.g., odometer readings, fleet utilisation) and produce performance reports for clients.
• Manage the Vehicle Replacement Programme, propose fleet restructuring, and coordinate order placements, fuel cards, e‑tags and licence renewals.
• Maintain accurate records, support inter‑departmental issues and escalate high‑priority matters to management.

Required profile

• Matric (High School Diploma); preferably a Diploma in Fleet Management, Logistics Management or Financial Management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the fleet industry, including client relationship management and fleet operations or contract administration.
