Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

The Financial Reporting Manager will ensure the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of Hulamin's statutory financial reporting. This senior position provides technical leadership on IFRS matters, oversees monthly, interim and annual reporting cycles, and drives strong financial governance while leading a high‑performing reporting team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the statutory monthly, interim and annual financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and JSE reporting requirements.
• Manage the Group consolidation process and reporting timetable.
• Provide technical accounting leadership, including IFRS 2, IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Oversee statutory reporting requirements and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Build strong relationships with auditors and lead the resolution of audit findings.
• Develop, coach and lead a high‑performing Financial Reporting team.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting systems, controls and governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading statutory financial reporting functions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, especially IFRS 2, 9, 15 and 16.
• Experience managing group consolidation and reporting timetables.
• Ability to build effective relationships with external auditors.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and coach a high‑performing finance team.
