About the role

Direct Transact is seeking a Financial Officer to manage daily balancing and reconciliation of all transactions processed through its banking and payment systems. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy and prompt corrective actions when discrepancies arise.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform daily balancing and reconciliation of transactions across multiple systems.
  • Maintain 100% accuracy in reflecting all processed transactions.
  • Initiate immediate corrective actions for any reconciliation or balancing issues.

Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bank and cashbook reconciliations.
  • BCom degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent qualification).

Required skills

  • SASWITCH (Interbank ATM) processing.
  • Debit Switch (Interbank POS) handling.
  • Realtime clearing and EFT transaction experience.
  • Knowledge of Visa and MasterCard processing.
  • Understanding of card switching and payments processing.
  • Familiarity with BankservAfrica rules and service level agreements.
