About the role
The People Connection is a South African SME based south of Johannesburg, founded before 2000. It has grown into a leading contractor for specialised construction, mining, infrastructure and civil engineering projects across Africa. The company delivers turnkey projects from inception to completion, including bulk earthworks, structural steel, piping and mine rehabilitation, with a strong focus on safety and quality. As the Financial Manager you will join a high‑growth environment, overseeing financial operations and supporting large‑scale infrastructure engineering initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise a team of two accountants/bookkeepers.
- Report directly to the CEO on financial performance and matters.
Required profile
- Proven ability to lead and develop junior accounting staff.
- Strong communication skills to interact with senior management.
