Financial Manager (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded CA(SA) to take on a high‑impact Financial Manager role within a thriving manufacturing environment. The role offers broad exposure across finance, operations and strategic decision‑making, allowing you to influence business decisions and drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full finance function, including monthly management accounts and financial reporting for executive management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury activities and foreign exchange transactions.
• Review and analyse Bill of Materials (BOM) costing and manufacturing cost structures.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with statutory and internal controls.
• Provide commercial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and controls.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification (essential).
• Minimum 2 years post‑articles experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with BOM costing and full‑cycle finance management.
• Proven cash flow management, forecasting and foreign‑exchange experience.
• Exposure to Syspro ERP.
• Analytical, commercial and leadership capabilities with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
