Financial Manager (Junior/Mid Level)

About the role

Andile, a specialist financial services technology and solutions firm based in Rosebank, Johannesburg, is looking for a mid‑level Financial Manager. The role focuses on commercial, financial and operational aspects of the business and reports directly to the Group Financial Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and interpret Master Service Agreements, oversee work orders and analyse actual versus projected income per project.
• Manage the in‑house financial management software, prepare budgets, financial statements, and conduct weekly profitability analysis.
• Perform month‑end journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Oversee debtor and creditor reconciliations, manage employee benefits schemes and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Support the annual audit process and provide recommendations to improve business efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Management Accounting or related field.
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles and CIMA or CGMA qualification.
• 2‑3 years post‑articles experience in a corporate or investment banking environment.
• Advanced practical experience with Excel and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong character, high standards of excellence and ability to drive new processes.
