Key responsibilities

• Managing the full finance function and overseeing day‑to‑day financial activities.
• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Overseeing month‑end and year‑end reporting processes.
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Monitoring financial controls and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Providing financial analysis and commercial insights to management.
• Managing cash flow, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
• Supporting internal and external audit processes.
• Preparing financial information and reports for senior management.
• Managing and developing finance team members.
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to support informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification.
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or relevant professional qualification (advantageous).
• 5+ years' relevant finance experience, preferably in a Financial Manager or senior finance role.
• Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls and accounting principles.
• Experience within financial services, insurance, investment management or a related environment (advantageous).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Financial systems experience.
