Financial Manager

About the role

Neo Batho (Pty) Ltd is seeking a hands‑on Financial Manager to lead the finance function for its growing business in Pretoria East. You will own end‑to‑end financial processes, provide strategic insights, and support rapid international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full finance function across multiple entities, ensuring accurate records and robust controls.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and analyse performance against budgets.
• Develop annual budgets, periodic forecasts and cash‑flow projections; monitor expenditure.
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, income‑tax submissions and ensure statutory compliance.
• Coordinate year‑end audit, liaise with external auditors and maintain strong governance.
• Administer payroll for ~30 staff and manage cash‑flow forecasts and payment schedules.
• Produce financial reports for shareholders and support operational decision‑making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Financial Manager or similar role.
• Strong financial accounting, reporting and budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of payroll, VAT, PAYE and tax compliance.
• Experience liaising with auditors and external stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software (advantageous).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
