Financial Controller – South Africa

About the role

The Financial Controller will join a fast‑growing manufacturing group, reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the CEO, Board and operational leaders. This senior position offers exposure to strategic decision‑making, operational finance, commercial insight and business transformation in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across multiple entities, overseeing annual financial statements, audits, tax compliance and governance.
• Manage monthly reporting, management packs, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Drive cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital management and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, due‑diligence and financial modelling activities.
• Oversee debtors, creditors, treasury, inventory, payroll and operational finance processes.
• Partner with operations, sales, merchandising and finance teams to align strategic targets.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification.
• 5‑7 years post‑qualification finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing finance operations across multiple entities.
