Financial Controller – SAP Specialist

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly analytical, systems‑driven Financial Controller to join a dynamic organisation in Johannesburg CBD. The role focuses on costing, financial analysis and optimisation of finance processes within an SAP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full finance function, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Drive financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Take ownership of costing, cost analysis and margin improvement initiatives.
• Lead projects to enhance and streamline financial systems and processes.
• Work extensively with SAP to improve reporting efficiency and data integrity.
• Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to financial policies.
• Partner with various departments to support operational and strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Relevant finance degree (CA(SA), CIMA or similar is advantageous).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
