Financial Controller

About the role

CyberSentriq is seeking a Financial Controller on a six‑month fixed‑term contract to build and lead a finance function that supports rapid growth and private‑equity expectations. You will combine rigorous financial analysis with AI‑driven automation to provide forward‑looking insight for senior management and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports to senior management and private‑equity stakeholders.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, embedding investor considerations and providing variance analysis.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies, GAAP/IFRS, and audit readiness.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support growth initiatives while minimizing risk.
• Act as the primary liaison to private‑equity investors, delivering regular updates and supporting due‑diligence processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to meet high‑performance standards.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent) and a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a fast‑growing SaaS or technology company with private‑equity backing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and experience preparing investor‑grade financial statements.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial controls.
• Solid understanding of compliance, risk management, and audit processes.
