Financial Controller

About the role

The market‑leading manufacturing organisation is looking for a high‑calibre Financial Controller to own financial reporting, controls and governance across a complex, multi‑entity business. This strategic role offers strong operational and executive exposure for a qualified CA(SA).

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full financial reporting function across multiple entities.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Review consolidations and inter‑company transactions for accuracy.
• Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks and financial procedures.
• Provide strategic financial insights to EXCO and senior management.
• Oversee treasury, cash‑flow management and balance‑sheet integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting efficiencies.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA) with 4‑7 years post‑articles experience.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, controls and team leadership.
• Strong exposure to consolidations and multi‑entity environments.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is highly advantageous.
