Financial Controller – 3‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a three‑month contract to join a well‑established group of companies in Mbombela. The role will focus on delivering accurate financial reporting, consolidations and analysis across multiple entities, supporting both operational and executive teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Consolidate financial results across the group’s entities.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure data integrity.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow reporting.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Maintain compliance with financial controls, policies and reporting standards.
• Provide financial insights to operational teams and senior management.
• Handle ad‑hoc finance and reporting requests as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
• Demonstrated experience with group consolidations and multi‑entity environments.
• Experience in commercial, operational or manufacturing settings is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Sage Evolution.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
