Financial Advisor / Wealth Manager (Mid-Level)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing wealth management firm in Cape Town seeking a mid‑level Financial Advisor to build relationships with high‑net‑worth clients. You will manage portfolios ranging from R2 million to over R10 million, supported by a centralized lead‑generation engine and an experienced operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct remote (Microsoft Teams) and in‑person consultations with pre‑qualified high‑net‑worth clients.
• Onboard and manage client portfolios ranging from R2 million to over R10 million.
• Utilise top‑tier investment platforms such as Allan Gray and Old Mutual Wealth to deliver holistic financial planning.
• Oversee risk product requirements through outsourced partners, generating additional revenue streams.
• Use the firm’s modern CRM platform to streamline workflows, from meeting notes to FICA compliance and automated onboarding.

Required profile

• Business‑level fluency in Afrikaans to serve the existing client base.
• Mid‑level experience with confident, professional advisory conversations with HNWI individuals.
• Comfortable with modern financial tech stacks, virtual meeting software and CRM systems.
• Relevant financial planning qualification or degree; working toward or holding a CFP® designation is advantageous.
• Based in or willing to commute daily to the Cape Town office.
