About the role

The Financial Advisor role at Old Mutual Personal Financial Advice is focused on empowering clients to achieve their long‑term financial goals. You will provide tailored advice, manage investments and guide customers through a proven six‑step planning process. This position offers the chance to build a personal practice within South Africa’s leading financial services group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain lasting client relationships through prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and recommend appropriate Old Mutual products.
• Become accredited in Old Mutual Personal Financial Advice offerings to serve specific client segments.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, FAIS regulations and maintain up‑to‑date CPD points.
• Monitor economic, political and regulatory trends to deliver cutting‑edge advice.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• At least 18 months experience in financial services, sales, client service or advisory roles.
• Fit‑and‑proper status with a clear criminal and credit record.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Strong communication, planning and analytical abilities.
