Financial Adviser – Senior Advisory Role

About the role

To serve as a senior advisory authority by managing complex intermediary and/or client portfolios, providing thought leadership on advice solutions, influencing distribution strategy at a segment level, and safeguarding long‑term client and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement relationship management plans for existing customer accounts, engaging decision‑makers and influencers.
• Provide specialist advice on policy interpretation, procedures and resolve queries, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Implement financial advice strategies tailored to client demographics and needs.
• Lead pricing and terms projects, negotiating within approved boundaries.
• Set clear objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations, and gather information to assess customer interest.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Undergraduate or Honours degree.
• Limited managerial experience (0‑3 months).
• Behavioural competencies: effective communication, complexity management, accountability, networking, trust, customer focus.
