Financial Adviser – Pretoria

About the role

The Financial Adviser will provide professional, relevant financial advice, planning and product solutions to both new and existing clients. The role focuses on building sustainable, high‑quality business in line with Sanlam’s targets while maintaining long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial needs analysis, advice and personalised solutions, ensuring compliance with disclosures and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Grow the Sanlam adviser business by meeting revenue, activity and brand promotion targets.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and business networks.
• Maintain and service client relationships, delivering ethical, courteous and value‑added service.
• Document client interactions, update records and report on contacts, appointments, revenue and activity metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS regulatory examination (or 24 months registration with the FSCA).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills, with a tech‑savvy, action‑oriented mindset.
