About the role

The role involves providing new and existing clients with professional financial advice, planning and product solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and building long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Grow the Sanlam adviser business by meeting revenue and activity targets, promoting the brand and treating customers fairly.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and business networks, converting relationships into business opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive client consultations, perform fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present balanced portfolio solutions.
• Deliver high‑quality client service, maintain long‑term relationships and respond promptly to client queries and policy events.
• Document and report weekly/monthly activity, contacts, revenue against targets and update client records.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• FAIS “Fit and Proper” status and successful completion of the regulatory examination; registration with the FSCA for at least 24 months.
• Experience in financial advice, target achievement, compliance and risk management, and client relationship management.
• Strong communication, tech‑savvy, action‑oriented and persuasive interpersonal abilities.
