Financial Adviser – Durban

About the role

The Financial Adviser will provide professional financial advice, planning and product sales to both new and existing clients, building long‑term relationships that generate loyalty and ongoing revenue for Sanlam.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice, planning and product solutions to meet client needs.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships to generate repeat business and brand loyalty.
• Generate new business through networking, prospecting and lead‑generation activities.
• Conduct comprehensive fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present suitable solutions.
• Ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory, ethical and Treating Customers Fairly standards.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• FAIS “Fit and Proper” status and successful regulatory examination (or at least 24 months registration with the FSCA).
• Ability to meet revenue, activity and quota targets.
• Strong client‑service orientation and ethical conduct.
