Financial Adviser – Build a Career with Purpose

About the role

EQ-FIN, in partnership with Liberty, is seeking motivated individuals to join its Financial Adviser team across South Africa. The role is hybrid, based in Sandton with opportunities to serve clients in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Vaal, Durban and Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with individual and corporate clients.
• Assess client financial needs and recommend appropriate insurance, investment and wealth‑planning solutions.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals and prospecting activities.
• Conduct regular financial reviews and provide ongoing support to grow client portfolios.
• Achieve agreed sales targets while adhering to professional and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, ambitious and goal‑oriented.

Required skills

• Ability to understand and explain financial products.
• Basic numeracy and analytical skills for financial assessments.
