Financial Administrator

About the role

Based in Cape Town’s City Bowl, the Financial Administrator will support daily office operations while handling key finance tasks. You will work closely with senior management and the Group Finance team to ensure smooth financial and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day office administration, including visitor reception, call handling, filing, meeting coordination and procurement of supplies.
• Process supplier invoices, prepare payment requests, record transactions, manage petty cash and assist with monthly reconciliations.
• Coordinate procurement activities, obtain quotations, maintain supplier records and monitor contract renewals.
• Support HR functions such as onboarding, leave tracking and staff welfare.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls and South African statutory requirements, and assist with audits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly administrative and financial reports, monitoring office expenditure.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Office Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in office administration with exposure to finance or accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

What we offer

• Salary range: R280 000 – R360 000 per year.
