Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting and finance function
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end reporting processes
• Analyse financial data and prepare business performance reports
• Work closely with stakeholders to improve financial efficiency and reporting accuracy

Required profile

• B.Com Accounting Degree
• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Professional, adaptable, and solutions‑driven
• Comfortable working aligned to US business hours

Required skills

• Proficiency in Xero accounting software
• Experience utilizing Claude AI
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
