Financial Accountant

About the role

Join a fast‑growing renewable energy organisation and take ownership of the full accounting function across a multi‑entity investment portfolio. You will work in a collaborative finance team where accuracy and proactive learning are highly valued.

Key responsibilities

• Review invoicing and debtors, prepare VAT returns and month‑end journals.
• Maintain loan schedules, approve payments and support audits, tax calculations and financial statements.
• Oversee accounting entries and provide guidance to the finance team.

Required profile

• Completed BCom/BAcc or equivalent financial degree, postgraduate qualification and completed articles.
• Registered or eligible to register with SAIPA, SAICA, AGA(SA) or CIMA, with ~2 years post‑articles experience.
• Intermediate Excel skills and confidence using financial systems.
• Experience in renewable energy or property portfolio environments is advantageous.
