Financial Accountant

Join a leading automotive business where precision, performance and growth are at the core of everything we do. As a Financial Accountant you will work in a high‑volume finance environment, strengthening your technical accounting expertise while supporting the company’s financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage month‑end processes, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Perform balance‑sheet and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with stock and fixed‑asset accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, tax and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Help prepare the Annual Financial Statements (AFS).
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain financial controls and data integrity.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Accounting or Finance (essential).
• 2–3 years of experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role.
• Newly qualified SAIPA professionals are encouraged to apply.
• Automotive or motor‑industry experience is highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Pivot Tables, V‑Lookups and handling large data sets.
• Experience with financial reconciliation and reporting.
• Familiarity with Drive AI (advantageous).
