About the role
Network Finance is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Pretoria East. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, tax and VAT compliance, and providing insight to support business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Manage VAT and tax submissions and ensure compliance.
- Process and review journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end reporting processes.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and internal controls.
- Support audits and statutory reporting requirements.
- Analyse financial information and provide insights to management.
- Utilise MDA or MRI systems where applicable.
Required profile
- BCom Accounting or related qualification.
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles.
- 2–3 years of commercial accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of VAT, tax, financial statements, journals, and general ledger functions.
- Experience with MDA or MRI systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
