Financial Accountant – Benoni (R500k p.a.)

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations across the parent company and its subsidiaries
• Support the annual external audit process, responding to audit queries and providing requested documentation and sample evidence
• Liaise with external auditors to support an efficient audit process
• Prepare Annual Financial Statements (AFS) for three subsidiary entities using CaseWare
• Ensure financial statements are accurate, IFRS compliant and completed on time
• Prepare tax computations and manage VAT requirements
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Participate in stock counts across multiple warehouses and reconcile physical stock against system records
• Coordinate BEE processes and perform rebate calculations and reconciliations

Required profile

• BCom degree
• Completed articles with at least 2 years post‑article experience, or without articles at least 5–6 years financial accounting experience
• Manufacturing or FMCG experience preferred
• Familiarity with Syspro or another ERP system is beneficial
