Finance Manager

About the role
The micro‑lender is looking for a Finance Manager to anchor its financial operations during a rapid scaling phase. Based in Cape Town, the role will provide strategic insight, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain liquidity and prepare the business for investor scrutiny.
Key responsibilities
- Manage cash‑flow forecasting and monitoring.
- Oversee loan‑book provisioning and credit‑risk assessment.
- Lead tax planning and ensure compliance with SARS regulations.
- Prepare and present financial reports and management accounts.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- Develop and control budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Administer payroll functions.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in finance within a lending or credit‑focused organisation.
- Strong knowledge of South African tax law and financial compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyse cash flow, budgeting and financial performance.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Required skills
What we offer
- Competitive monthly salary between R65 000 and R85 000.
