Finance Manager

About the role

Lalu is seeking a Finance Manager to lead finance operations across its Group function. Based in Cape Town, this full‑time hybrid role will support strategic objectives, operational excellence and continuous improvement across all service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Financial Control and Reporting in preparing profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Work with Finance Executives to manage month‑end close, ensuring timely reporting to management and the Board.
• Gather and analyse data for the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
• Support cash flow management, daily treasury updates and optimisation of working capital.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable, maintaining invoicing and cash collections for a large customer base.
• Oversee monthly reconciliations, resolve account queries and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Maintain, enforce and improve internal control procedures.

Required profile

• Hands‑on finance professional with experience in finance operations.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and drive process efficiency.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

• Sage Intacct (ERP system)
