Finance Director

About the role

Ready for the finance seat at the executive table? A national logistics and supply‑chain business within a JSE‑listed group is seeking a Finance Director who will report to the Managing Director and lead a large finance and payroll team across multiple sites. In this senior role you will own the numbers and strategy, driving financial performance and governance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Statutory, management and group reporting
• Treasury, cash flow, working capital and tax compliance
• Governance, risk, audit, ESG and B‑BBEE committee reporting
• Commercial finance, pricing and contract economics

Required profile

• CA(SA) in good standing with SAICA
• 5–10 years in a Finance Director or equivalent executive role
• Experience leading a national finance function in a listed group
• Exposure to logistics, supply chain or manufacturing (preferred)
• Ability to challenge decisions independently and build trusted finance teams

• IFRS, consolidations and group reporting packs
• Budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling
• Sage 300 (advantageous)
• Oracle Hyperion (advantageous)
