Finance Accountant – Supply Chain

About the role

Unilever is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Finance Accountant to support the financial management of inventory, business waste, and supply chain indirects. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong governance, balance‑sheet integrity, and provides insights that drive decision‑making and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end stock reporting, ensuring accurate inventory balances and completing inventory reconciliations.
• Perform balance‑sheet reviews, investigate discrepancies, and monitor stock movements, provisions, and ageing.
• Partner with Operations, Logistics, Planning, and Factory teams to improve inventory visibility and control.
• Lead business waste and SLOB reporting, validate waste provisions, write‑offs, and reserve calculations.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of waste drivers and support sustainable improvement actions.
• Maintain audit‑ready records and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Manage supply‑chain indirect cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Provide financial analysis, challenge cost drivers, and identify productivity and cost‑saving opportunities.
