Filling Station Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Filling Station Manager to oversee all operational aspects of our Pretoria‑based filling station. The role involves managing staff, inventory, cash handling and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of the filling station.
• Supervise cashiers, pump attendants, and merchandisers.
• Oversee stock ordering and inventory control.
• Ensure correct capturing and processing of invoices.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Manage cash‑up procedures and daily reconciliations.
• Implement controls to minimise shrinkage and losses.
• Provide leadership, training, and performance management to staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service on forecourt and in‑store.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar managerial role, preferably in retail or a filling station environment.
• Honest, reliable and punctual.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hands‑on, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• High level of integrity.
• Strong attention to detail.
