Field Visual Merchandiser – Fashion Retail (4+ yrs experience)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Visual Merchandiser to lead the visual identity of a growing fashion and footwear brand across multiple retail locations. The role involves travelling to stores in the Western Cape, Free State, Gauteng and KZN to ensure each outlet reflects the brand’s standards and seasonal strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee visual merchandising for 30+ fashion retail stores, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
• Conceptualise, implement and maintain eye‑catching displays that match customer profiles, seasonal trends and product priorities.
• Travel regularly to assigned regions to audit store presentations, provide guidance and support to store teams.
• Collaborate with buying and marketing teams to translate campaigns into in‑store visuals.
• Maintain documentation of visual standards, store layouts and merchandising assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of field visual merchandising experience in fashion retail.
• Proven track record managing visual standards across multiple stores.
• Residence in the Western Cape or Free State with willingness to travel extensively.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel across Western Cape, Free State, Gauteng and KZN.
• Strong understanding of brand identity and ability to translate it into compelling store displays.

Required skills

• Ability to plan and organise store visits and audits.
• Knowledge of fashion retail trends and customer preferences.
