Field & Technical Support Technician

About the role

We’re looking for a Field & Technical Support Technician to join our team. This hands‑on role combines 1st line technical support with on‑site field assistance, helping customers resolve hardware, software and network issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st line technical support to customers, both remotely and on‑site.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and IP‑related issues.
• Install, repair, maintain and test technical equipment at customer sites.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical team.
• Maintain accurate records and provide feedback on technical problems.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment while traveling to customer sites.

Required profile

• Previous experience in technical support, helpdesk or field service.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good understanding of IT, networking and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• IT‑related qualification or technical certification is advantageous.
