Cape Union Mart International is seeking an enthusiastic entry‑level candidate for a festive‑season contract in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supporting sales targets and maintaining store standards throughout the busy holiday period.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers professionally, identify their needs and provide appropriate assistance while applying effective selling techniques.
• Work toward individual sales targets, recognise upselling opportunities and contribute to overall store performance.
• Maintain stock loss control by following store procedures and handling merchandise responsibly.
• Support housekeeping and visual merchandising standards to ensure an organised and attractive retail environment.
• Build positive relationships with shoppers, creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering repeat business.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates; 6 months retail experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Matric or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Clear criminal record and proficiency in English.
• Strong customer‑service focus, friendly and confident demeanor.
• Willingness to follow store procedures, meet sales targets and work collaboratively.
