About the role
We are looking for a Fashion Design Graduate to join our design team in Johannesburg. The role works under the direction of the Senior Designer and Buyer, contributing to trend research, CAD creation and range development.
Key responsibilities
- Research fashion trends and assist the Senior Designer and Buyer.
- Create CAD drawings, storyboards and moodboards for clients.
- Tag, scan and photograph samples, and compile comprehensive tech packs.
- Prepare and email tech packs with all specifications required for production.
- Support the Designer and Merchandiser in developing signature ranges.
- Participate in QA fittings, measurements and technical discussions.
Required profile
- Fashion Design Degree or National Diploma.
- Strong design portfolio.
- Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience with CAD software.
