About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join our 11‑doctor clinic in Kimberley, BC. The position offers flexible hours, no on‑call duties, and the chance to practice comprehensive family medicine in a vibrant, award‑winning community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Participate in long‑term care and optional obstetrics services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to shared‑care initiatives.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using MedAccess EMR.
• Engage in community health programs and, when desired, teach medical students and residents.

Required profile

• Medical degree and current licensure to practice family medicine in British Columbia.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and work‑life balance.
• Interest in teaching and mentorship is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MedAccess EMR.

• Estimated gross remuneration $350‑400k per year (fee‑for‑service).
• Retention premium (14% or flat $21,000) and additional incentives under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement.
